The girls in Mr Wilson's, Ms Kennedy's, and Mr O'Keeffe's class were very lucky to receive a visit from Ms Edith Wilkins, and Ms Ciara Ronayne from the Edith Wilkins Foundation.
Edith told the girls her very inspiring life story, and how she devoted her life to helping the children of India.
The girls were very surprised to hear about the conditions the people of Calcutta and Darjeeling were living in, and were amazed to hear how they could help.
Mr Wilsons class wrote letters, and drew pictures for the boys and girls in India, and Edith will kindly bring them to them.
