Taking learning outside!

First Class have been enjoying the dry weather recently and making the most of our outside spaces. During the week we were working on Time in Maths, and decided to go outside for some challenges. Using our new counting techniques “one alligator, two alligator…” we timed our friends doing different challenges, such as writing their name, doing star jumps etc. We ended our lesson trying to guess and count how long a minute is without looking at the countdown timer. It was tricky but we had some close calls at 57/58 seconds! We’re looking forward to more outside time as the weather improves 💜
