We were so lucky to welcome little tadpoles to our class recently. Ms Spillett let us borrow her tadpoles so that we learn all about them and see them up close. We could see that the tadpoles were already growing their back legs which will be very long when they are fully grown frogs. Their legs will help them to jump around. Ms Spillett told us that the tadpoles like to each cooked spinach. The froglets will soon have to be released back into their pond before they are fully grown frogs so that they don’t jump out of their container. We loved looking at the growing tadpoles. After they visited, we read a book all about the Life Cycle of the Frog.
