The girls in 4th class had great fun this week, as Seachtain na Gaeilge began.
There are lots of great activities planned in the upcoming week, and the girls were very busy rehearsing their songs.
Thursday was a very special day, as the girls in 4th Class had the opportunity to announce our 'seanfhocal an lae' on the intercom! Joyce and Jessica did us all very proud, and eloquently announced the seanfhocal "Níl aon tinteán mar do thinteán féin" (There's no place like home).
Anna, Keelin, Jessica, and Lucy entertained us all with a wonderful Irish dance this week!
The girls created beautiful artwork to give the classroom a wonderful Gaeilge and green atmosphere!
The girls designed shamrocks, and cut them out. They were then hung by a string from the ceiling!
We also had great fun drawing Irish leprechauns and painting them. The artwork is stunning! There is such wonderful talent in 4th class.
