3rd and 4th class have been really busy this week learning all about floating and sinking fo science week. We experimented how somethings floated and others didn’t. We noticed that most of the things that sank we big or made of metal. We then questioned how boats float when they are big and often made of metal!?
we learnt all about how boats floated after this and the importance of density when it comes to floating.
Using our new found knowledge we designed boats and tested them in a basin of water.
