Rumley’s Farm 🐶🐰🐷🐮🐥
Yesterday, we had our first ever school tour at Rumley’s Farm. It was such a fun and exciting day from start to finish.
We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw that we were travelling on a double decker bus. We even got to travel on the top deck! We all shrieked with excitement when the bus driver turned on the engine.
When we arrived at the farm, we noticed that it was a little smelly but we soon got used to it. We had a little snack first and then we got to ride on a big tractor. Farmer Denis was the driver and he was really kind.
Sarah, our guide, took us to see the milking parlour so we could see where the cows get milked. We then took a walk and we got to see lots of other animals such as goats, sheep, llamas, donkeys, peacocks and wolf dogs. We even got to pet two little puppies called Jack and Jill along with kittens, rabbits and ponies.
After some time playing in the playground we got to eat our delicious hot meal. We then got to play in the soft play area where we had so much fun! We were all a little tired after our day of activities so we rested a little on the bus home. We loved our school tour to Rumley’s!
