Planting Bluebells in 4th Class
The girls in 4th class didn't forget their shovels on Friday! We all went out in the beautiful sunshine, and planted bluebell bulbs!
We started by digging two shallow trenches. Mr Wilson had the big shovel, so he got the holes started for us. The girls then used their trowels and rakes to widen each trench so we would have enough room to plant our bulbs.
Manha was in charge of the plant food, and she spread the plant food into the trenches so that there would be lots of nutrients within the soil to help our plants grow nice and healthily.
We planted two rows of bluebells, and covered them up with some fresh earth. We then watered them well. We're so excited to see them blooming, and hopefully they'll poke their heads up before we say goodbye in June.
Check out some of the photos from the day!
