Mrs O' Rourke's 5th Class visit to UCC

Today we had a fantastic visit to UCC. On our way up we walked through St Finbarrs Cathedral. We were amazed by the gold on the spire.

We toured the campus and learned a lot about the history of the college. We learned all about George Boole, who is buried not too far from our school. 

We made sure to honour the tradition of not walking through or on the grass in The Quad. 

One of the highlights of the day was the visit to the observatory and witnessing how the roof can open up for the telescopes. We also couldn't help but notice that the Aula Maxima was very like Hogwarts! 

Best part of all - We all graduated with flying colours.
