We’ve been having a lot of fun with our maths lessons! We've played various games, including a teacher vs. student activity where one child takes on the role of the teacher and gives a target number for their classmate to match with counters. It's a great way for them to engage with numbers!
The children have also been using different manipulatives to create models of their bedrooms, which helps them connect their learning to their personal spaces. Additionally, the girls have been practicing moving back and forth on a human number line, like going back 2 steps and then forward 3.
They've been learning about length by measuring their water bottles using cubes and ordering them by height. It's been an exciting and interactive way to explore these concepts!
