Irish Dancing with Ms Carroll
4th Class were in for a real treat this week as they got the chance to learn Irish dancing from none other than their very own teacher, Ms. Carroll! Not only is Ms. Carroll an amazing teacher, but she is also an expert Irish dancer – and we were so lucky to have her share her skills with us.
From the moment the music started, the class was full of energy and excitement. Ms. Carroll revised some of the traditional steps, including the 1-2-3s and the sevens, before leading us in a fun céilí dance. It wasn’t long before we were all up on our feet, moving to the rhythm and giving it our best effort.
There were lots of laughs, a few wobbles, and plenty of brilliant dancing as everyone tried out the steps. By the end of the session, the class had really started to get the hang of it, and we even managed to dance through a full routine together!
A huge thank you to Ms. Carroll for sharing her passion and talent with us. Who knows? We might have a few future Irish dancing champions in our class! We can’t wait for our next session.
