The Animal Roadshow came to visit and the girls were thrilled to see all of the different creatures!
There were barn owls, albino snakes (which Mrs. Hurley just loved...not!) a chinchilla, a lizard and a tortoise.
We got to pet and hold some of them and learned some really cool facts like how Chinchillas have extremely soft dense blue grey fur. For every one hair we have, a chinchilla has 8!
We also discovered that barn owls are silent when flying and can rotate their head 270° because they cannot move their eyes.
