Today, Ms Fanning set us a challenge for Engineer’s Week. We were asked to design and make a tower. First we chatted with our partner about our plan and we drew our plan on a piece of paper. Then Ms Fanning gave us our materials! One group made towers using spaghetti and mini marshmallows. The second group used straws and masking tape and the third group used cotton buds and masking tape. We really enjoyed this challenge. We noticed that if our plan didn’t work, we had to go back and try a different plan. We really began thinking like engineers! Take a look at our wonderful designs!
