Engineers Week - Ms Hayes’ Junior Infants
We loved being engineers this week in school! We had great fun being innovative and creative in class.
We made some fabulous creations using Lego. We also had an un-bee-lievable time using our Beebots. We had to program our bot and watch it carry out the instructions. An added challenge was trying to program the bot so that it would not fall off the table, we really enjoyed this one! A big thank you to our 5th class helpers who showed us how to use the Beebots! 🐝 🐝
Lastly, we put our teamwork skills to work and worked in groups to make a bridge that would be able to hold our ambulance. The challenge was we could only use play-doh and pasta!!
We were very innovative in our approach and our fantastic team work skills really helped us make some impressive bridges, and they all could support the weight of the ambulance! Check them out below!!
