4th Class Data Collection and Representation
This week, our 4th class students embarked on an exciting journey into the world of data!
Our next stop was learning about pictograms, a type of graph that uses pictures to represent data. We talked about how pictograms help us understand information quickly and how each symbol or image in a pictogram represents a specific number.
Everyone amazed to see how a few rows of apples, footballs, and stars could turn numbers into a vibrant visual story!
The real fun began when the children got hands-on. Working in small groups, they:
1.Analysed a set of data
2.Tallied their results on a whiteboard.
3.Transformed their data into pictograms using colorful drawings.
By the end of the lessons, our 4th class students were buzzing with enthusiasm about data. They learned not only how to gather and organize information but also how to present it creatively.
