We had a wonderful experience last Friday. We all went on a bus to the Lifetime Lab in Cork City. We engaged in an Explorers Workshop, and found out all about the sea, and the animals that lived there.
We saw the "Real Map of Ireland" which included Ireland's sea territories, and depths.
There were lots of great experiments that we completed, such as launching an aerial squid, making a whirlpool, and making an aquatic food web. We also saw some amazing sea creatures such as the spotted dogfish, which is a type of shark!!!
The workshop was presented by Shazia, who will be visiting our school after Easter when we will show her our projects.
