For the past number of weeks, 4th Class stepped into the world of debating, and what an incredible experience it was! We tackled the motion:
“Exams and tests are a good thing.”
Split into teams, we had passionate arguments on both sides. Some argued that exams help us stay motivated, measure our progress, and prepare us for the future. Others countered with strong points about stress, fairness, and the fact that learning isn’t just about test scores.
The level of research, persuasive writing, and confident speaking was outstanding! The girls presented thought-provoking arguments, powerful refutes, and well-structured speeches. We even had moments of lively back-and-forth as teams challenged each other’s points with great counterarguments.
A huge well done to everyone for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and critical thinking—future lawyers and public speakers in the making! 👏
