4th Class Music Video for "Santa Never Brings Me a Banjo"

🎶 4th Class Presents: “Santa Never Brings Me a Banjo” 🎥

Mr. Wilson’s 4th Class embarked on an exciting project to create our very own cover of the humorous and heartwarming song “Santa Never Brings Me a Banjo.” The class worked together to plan, write, act, record, and edit a video version of the song, and the process was as fun as the final product! We started by dividing into groups, with each group assigned a verse to personalize and storyboard. Everyone brought fantastic ideas to the table, from dramatic pleas to Santa under a glittering Christmas tree to a playful “banjo delivery” scene. Costumes, props, and plenty of laughter made the planning stage a joy.

Recording the song was great fun, as Mr. Wilson played the Irish bouzouki to give the track a unique folky vibe. Stella, our class’s very own guitar maestro, joined in with her brilliant playing—she was truly excellent and kept the rhythm strong throughout. Once the music was ready, we moved on to filming. Each group acted out their storyboards, with some students taking the spotlight on camera and others shining behind the scenes as directors, camera operators, and prop managers. Our creativity really came alive with costumes, props, and even a real life banjo!

The final step was editing, where we pieced together the best clips, added transitions, and even experimented with special effects. This was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, showcase our talents, and spread a little festive cheer.
