4th Class were extrememly lucky to visit the Glucksman gallery to attend a clay workshop all about the boglands and the magic of what they can hold.
We got the bus to UCC. When we got off the bus we walked to UCC had our lunch and had quick tour of the campus. We were lucky to have Ms. Kennedy and Ms. Connell as tour guides who went to college in UCC before. They showed us the library and the quad and even brought us inside the quad to show us the ogham stones.
After our tour we went to the Glucksman Gallery, we went straight to the basement where our workshop would take place. We got a tour of the gallery to see all the spectacular artwork.
After our tour of the gallery, we went back to the basement and had lots of inspiration to create people and objects that could be found in the boglands.
