4th Class First Aid Workshop by Charlotte
Charlotte in Mr Wilson's 4th class was kind enough to share her vast knowledge of first aid with her class and her teacher today.
Charlotte follows her family's footsteps, joining the ranks of the emergency services, and devoting her time to help others. Charlotte's family has been members of St Johns Ambulance for generations, and the passion Charlotte has is wonderful.
Charlotte told us all about the work St Johns Ambulance do, and she showed us how to react to a huge range of catastrophes! Strokes, cuts, bruises, and breathing difficulties were only a few of the vast array of knowledge Charlotte shared.
Charlotte showed her classmates how to react, and the correct procedures to follow if an injury occurs. We finished by learning CPR, to the tune of "Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees.
Thank you Charlotte for your AMAZING work!
