Digital Learning Our Computer Room
As educators, our vision is to embed digital technologies in the planning of learning activities and the systematic assessment of our pupils. As a staff our aim is to upskill ourselves so that we can support our pupils in the use of digital technologies more meaningfully, creating digital content across the curriculum.
We also use digital technologies to support and facilitate the learning of pupils with special educational needs, to make learning more accessible to them. Each of our SET rooms is equipped with 3 chromebooks to aid children's learning.
We upgraded our computer room in 2021 with 32 new machines and a 65 inch wall mounted teaching screen. Our pupils love to learn in this digital environment. We can publish our creative writing texts, practice Reading Eggs and Spellings for Me, research project topics and learn to type.
All of our classrooms have Interactive Teaching Panels so we can use digital content to support our curriculum.
Our younger pupils love using our Ipads to engage with apps which reinforce their learning in phonics and maths in a very enjoyable, independent way.
